Kate Kelly provides support to the firm’s special events team. In this role, she manages event details and on-the-ground logistics.
Prior to joining the Podesta Group, Kate was a legislative correspondence manager for Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), where she created, implemented and managed all personal and formal correspondence on behalf of the senator. She also served as deputy finance director for the Blumenthal for Senate campaign, where she facilitated fundraisers and oversaw events with major surrogates, including Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Earlier in her career, Kate supported the corporate and major donor development team as the executive assistant to programs at Third Way.
Kate graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Delaware.
