As a junior associate at the Podesta Group, Jim Dennany supports the firm's financial services sector. In that capacity, Jim monitors House Financial Services and Senate Banking committee hearings, along with relevant agency meetings. He also provides research and analysis for Podesta Group clients on a wide range of issues, including insurance, housing, securities and payment networks. Jim joined the firm from the Office of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), where he served as a legislative assistant and gained valuable experience advising the Congresswoman on a broad portfolio that included appropriations, budget, financial services and banking, taxes, education and transportation. He also logged some time on the campaign trail as a field organizer for the Congresswoman's reelection campaign.
Having grown up in Gaylord, Michigan, Jim eventually headed west to the University of Arizona where he earned a BS.
