Elizabeth Sage assists Podesta Group clients on intellectual property, telecommunications and high tech policy matters, and provides strong support to the firm’s education practice. In her role, Elizabeth conducts research, monitors legislation before Congress and covers hearings important to the firm’s clients. She also contributes to the development of congressional and administration outreach strategies and spends quite a bit of time on Capitol Hill shepherding and advising clients as they advocate for various policy objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth gained valuable political experience on the campaign trail. Most recently, she served as the College Outreach Coordinator for a congressional campaign and worked for the Obama for America campaign during the primaries in South Carolina and North Carolina. She also served as an intern for Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI). Elizabeth has a bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
