In the role of junior associate, Dave Barmore works with the Podesta Group's technology and telecom teams. He regularly conducts extensive research on legislative issues related to internet privacy, broadband spectrum, cybersecurity and net neutrality. He also assists the firm's energy sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Dave spent time on Capitol Hill, working as a legislative correspondent for former Congressman Walt Minnick (D-ID) and an intern for Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE). He also spent time as a research associate for America's Health Insurance Plans, preparing material for policy and regulatory analysis. Dave has a BA from the University of Nebraska.
