Jessica Lawrence provides clients with strategic guidance on international affairs, defense and appropriations issues. She joined the Podesta Group after serving as Senior Policy Advisor to Rep. Albio Sires (D-NJ), where she advised the congressman on his assignment to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as national security, appropriations and tax issues. Her prior Capitol Hill experience includes working for two appropriators, Rep. Steve Rothman (D-NJ) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). Jessica has worked on several political campaigns in Washington State, including Gore-Lieberman 2000, Kerry-Edwards 2004, and Sen. Murray.
