Formerly Deputy Director of Correspondence
and Presidential Messages at the White House, Shannon Hembree
serves as Director of Marketing for the Podesta Group. A
talented and creative writer and editor, she also works with
clients to develop persuasive messages and translate complex
policy language into everyday examples. Prior to her
tenure at the White House, Shannon worked at the United States
Conference of Mayors where she co-authored a 29-city survey
on hunger and homelessness in America’s cities.
