Elizabeth Morra leads our appropriations
practice and directs our work for clients on all appropriations-related
matters. On Capitol Hill, Elizabeth served as the House
Appropriations Committee’s first communications director
under former Chairmen Bob Livingston of Louisiana and C.W.
Bill Young of Florida. She also served as spokeswoman
to Senate Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Thad Cochran
of Mississippi during his term as Chairman of the Senate Republican
Conference.
In addition to her in-depth understanding
of the appropriations process, Elizabeth offers clients public
relations expertise and national media contacts, having previous
experience not only in political communications, but also
as a broadcast journalist prior to her tenure on Capitol Hill.
She has worked in both the House and Senate and was named
one of Roll Call’s “Fabulous
Fifty Staffers.”
