Elizabeth Morra leads our appropriations
practice and directs our work for clients on all appropriations-related
matters. On Capitol Hill, Elizabeth served as the House
Appropriations Committee’s first communications director
under former Chairmen Bob Livingston (R-LA) and C.W.
Bill Young (R-FL). She also served as spokeswoman
to Senate Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Thad Cochran
(R-MS) during his term as Chairman of the Senate Republican
Conference.
In addition to her in-depth understanding
of the appropriations process, Elizabeth offers clients public
relations expertise and national media contacts, having previous
experience not only in political communications, but also
as a broadcast journalist prior to her tenure on Capitol Hill. She has worked in both the House and Senate and was named
one of Roll Call’s “Fabulous
Fifty Staffers.”
